Meet the Girls of Pattaya

Pattaya is a place where dreams come true for a lot of guys. It's a beautiful seaside resort, palms lining the blue waters of the Gulf of Thailand and the sun shines almost every day of the year, but it's no secret that it's the girls of Pattaya, that is the biggest draw.

First time visitors to Pattaya, easy to spot with a big grin on their face, often can't believe their eyes. It's like you have been transported and suddenly to another dimension where none of the rules of the outside world apply. Chances are good that Pattaya is pretty close to what many guys imagine paradise on earth to be like! Beautiful Thai women are everywhere and incredibly, they all seem interested in you. Most men can't resist the charms of the girls of Pattaya and spend their vacation with relivingtheir youth. Pattaya girls have that unique gift; to make you feel like you are young, virile and strong again. Like you are still in the game, no longer relegated to the back of the line dating.

Now, there are many places a man might find bliss in Pattaya: the open air beer bars, gogo bars and the flashy the clubs, but there needs to be said a few words of caution. I've seen many guys, fresh to Thailand and a little naive, spend their savings on the wrong kind of girl.

Thailand Real Estate

Everyone knows that Real Estate is big business, and many people are trying to get their own part of the action by looking to new places around the world to build on. In Europe this means places like Hungary and other Eastern European countries, outside of Europe people are looking to the Far East. In the Far East there is no bigger market than Thailand real estate. Thailand is a hugely favorite destination for tourists and is easy to get to from all parts of the world; an increasing whole of people are looking to live in Thailand as well as investment there on holiday.

Thailand real estate offers huge profit to those who can build apartments, condos, villas or houses, and prices are far below those of the United States, Western Europe or similar nations. The demand therefore is why isn't every person investing in Thailand real estate?

Phuket

There are unfortunately wide fluctuating and complicated laws regarding the purchase of land and the building of property, which makes it far more restrictive than building in other parts of the world. One such rule means that foreigners are not allowed to own land in Thailand, although they are allowed to own buildings. There are two ways around this, whereby the land is leased for periods of thirty years, or the land is purchased by a Thai company. This last option is preferential but all Thai companies require at least seven members on the board, five of whom should be Thai. It does get complicated very quickly, and local knowledge is vital to meet all requiements.

Then of course there are issues about immigration laws regarding the purchase of Thailand real estate. Depending on what visas private have may need private to leave or re-entry the country four times a year, or else apply for extensions.

The easiest option could be to just purchase building and rent them out; there is profit to be made, as places like Phuket are becoming increasingly favorite amongst the tourist trade, although even this has barriers.

For those people willing to do the research and put the money and attempt in there is a lot of money to be made from Thailand Real Estate. It is advisable though to get a good agent and a reputable lawyer. Both of these professionals are indispensable when dealing with laws, taxes and fees all required to make a successful step into Thailand real estate.

The Other 5 Provinces of Bangkok

When we think of Bangkok we tend to think of the city and not the wider metropolitan area. This is made up of five other provinces which offer a diversity of attractions and sights that can match the central capital areas, and with an increasing number of European airlines offering cheap flights to Bangkok, I thought I would look at what these places outside of the city centre have to offer.

Nonthaburi
Nonthaburi is a central province that lies just north of Bangkok. Subsequently the area is very urbanized but still retains much of its history and culture. The Museum and The Thai Traditional Training Centre is built in classic Thai style and features an exhibition hall detailing the development of the area's medical profession. Visitors should also check out WatKhemaphirataram Rajaworawiharn and Montri Tramote, 's house-the former home of the famed Buddhist musician.

Samut Prakhan
Home to the (New) Bangkok International Airport, Samut Prakhan is located on the coast. The area used to be home to six forts built to defend the port of Siam, of which two (Phi Sua Samut and Phra Chulachomkrao) still exist today. The Erawan Museum (chronicling the religious history of the area) and Ancient Siam, the world's largest outdoor museum, are also must-see sights.

Thailand Travel

Pathum Thani
Pathum Thani is located to the north of the province, and is the one of the biggest outside of Bangkok at over 1.500 square kilometres. Often considered the most interesting attraction in the area, the Science Museum is notable for its intriguing design andarchitecture and the interactive nature of its exhibits. Pathum Thani is also home to the Wat Chedi Hoi Temple-also known as the Shell Pagoda.

Samut Sakhon
Located in the south west of the area, Samut Sakhon was once a trading port. There are still some sights that can be seen from the time such as the 400 year old temple: Wat Yai Chom Prasat, and the uniquely windy canal: Khlong Khok Kham. Tours can also be taken around the area's orchard and flower gardens.
